Victoria M. Vazquez, Ph.D. is a data scientist with a background in wildlife biology and disease who has worked in state government, academia, and the non-profit sector. Victoria knows advanced data analysis is the key to innovations in healthcare, conservation, customer service, and revenue generation. She is interested in using her data analysis, machine learning, project management, and communication skills in her next professional endeavor.

Victoria has received Basic Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) trainings. She also Coordinated Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) water and sediment sampling in the St. Petersburg Sector (Hernando through Collier counties in Florida) after the ​Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill​.

Victoria holds a BA in Biology from Dartmouth College, an MS in Animals and Public Policy from Tufts University, and a PhD in Plant Biology from The University of Georgia.
